Mark Rogero
Born and raised in New Jersey, Mark Rogero attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture before apprenticing with architects in New York. Relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1989, he began experimenting with concrete countertops in his own Emeryville loft between construction projects. His early success with concrete at the loft led Mark to convert that 800 square-foot space into the original home of Concreteworks.
Flora
Designed to serve the versatile needs of the modern garden, the Flora serves as both Planter and Bartop. At 44” off the ground, the flora stands at bar height, with a generous 6“ drink lip. The spacious interior space enables the Flora to house both large and small plants with ample growth space. The bold shape is anchored by a metal plate, adding stability, while maintaining the light and playful balance that defines the Flora.
