Backen Gillam & Kroeger Architects designed this private winery overlooking Napa Valley. The values and quality of Ovid’s unique wine are expressed in the beautiful architectural details which can be found throughout the estate, including the production facility downstairs. The twelve fermentation tanks are clad with precast wall panels made with thousands of hand-cut stones with a terrazzo finish. The unique coloration of the concrete mix continues in the bathroom sink and kitchen countertops upstairs.
